Weather expert: The cold will reach its peak over the next two days and surface temperatures will drop below freezing

Meteorological expert Jamil Al-Hajj expects the cold wave to reach its peak on Friday night into Saturday morning, November 21-22, 2025.

It also expects surface temperatures to drop to 4 degrees below zero, and temperatures at an altitude of two meters to 1 degree below zero.

Al-Hajj pointed out that temperatures in the highlands of Sanaa governorate will reach their maximum during this period, and it is likely that they will drop in Jabal al-Nabi Shuaib and areas from north to south of Amran at dawn on Thursday to two degrees below zero, and in the mountains of Al-Tayyal, Ans, Yarim and east of Al-Radmah between zero and one degree below zero.
