Security force arrests activists in Aden

On Tuesday evening, October 14, 2025, security forces arrested two activists in Aden governorate, southern Yemen.

Media sources reported that activists Hani Al-Yazidi and Ahmed Humaidan were arrested while at Bank Square in Crater.

The families of the two activists confirmed in a joint statement that the arrest took place without any legal justification or arrest warrant issued by the public prosecutor.

The press release explains that members of the security forces took the detainees to an unknown destination after arresting them at Bank Square.

Both families expressed deep concern for the safety of Al-Yazidi and Humaidan and called on security authorities in Aden to quickly reveal their whereabouts and release them immediately.
