Sanaa.. Retreat two foreign exchange facilities and stop dealing with a third

On Sunday, December 14, 2025, the Central Bank of Sanaa ordered the resumption of transactions with two foreign exchange facilities and the suspension of transactions with a third facility.

According to two separate circulars issued by the Sanaa Foreign Exchange Association and addressed to foreign exchange establishments and companies and local financial transfer networks, the association confirmed the implementation of the Central Bank’s directives, which require reviewing operations with the Al-Shaibani Foreign Exchange Facilities and Al-Shaibani Express Exchange, and to stop dealing with the facilities of Muhammad Abdullah Abdullah Masoud.

Thus, since the beginning of December, the Central Bank of Sanaa has stopped dealing with four establishments and two exchange companies, while it has resumed its relations with two exchange companies and five establishments.
