Sanaa. Arrangements to launch an identity for Yemeni industries

Acting Minister of Economy, Industry and Investment of the Sanaa Government, Sam Ahmed Al-Bashiri, revealed the launch of an identity for Yemeni industry in the coming days.

This happened during the first meeting of the industrial sector organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Sanaa Governorate, under the slogan “Together to support local product and encourage national investments.”

Al-Bashiri said during the meeting that the Ministry of Economy was launching an identity for the Yemeni industry with the launch of a platform to present, promote and market local products, and the launch of the one-stop shop of the Investment Authority at the beginning of 2026 AD.

He added that various investor meetings will be organized by the ministry and the Authority and investor meetings will be organized based on types of industries.

He stressed the importance of strengthening the partnership between the government and the private sector to resolve all problems, in a way that serves the economic, investment and commercial process in Sana’a governorate and other governorates, in order to advance the partnership towards the localization of industries and self-sufficiency.

Al-Bashiri stressed that the ministry, in partnership with the relevant authorities, will strive to resolve all types of issues raised during the meeting or in the future, in collaboration with combating all practices that harm the reputation of the state administrative apparatus and negatively affect the activity of the private sector, so as to preserve national capital and protect the Yemeni consumer.
