Meteorology: Frosts are expected in parts of the highlands

The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning predicted very cold weather overnight and early morning in the governorates of: (Saada, Amran, Sana’a, Dhamar, Al-Bayda and Abyan Heights, Lahj, Al-Dhale’, Ibb, southern Ma’rib and western Al-Jawf), with frost (Dharib) forming in some parts of them.

The center also expects cold weather in the highlands of the governorates of: (Hajjah, Al Mahwit, Raymah, Taiz, Shabwa and Hadhramaut).

The center warned residents of the above-mentioned highlands and travelers against cold and extreme cold, especially the elderly, children, the sick and workers during the night and early morning.

He advised farmers to take necessary measures to protect their agricultural crops, and also called on livestock breeders, beekeepers and poultry farmers to shelter animals and poultry in warm places.
