Meteorology: Frosts are expected in limited parts of 7 governorates and light rains in parts of central and western parts of the country.

The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning has forecast cold to very cold weather overnight and early morning in the governorates of (Saada, Amran, Sana’a, Dhamar, Al-Bayda, West Al-Jawf and Ma’rib), and it is not unlikely that frost will form in some limited parts of them.
Cold weather is also expected in the highlands of the governorates of (Hadhramaut, Shabwa, Al Dhalea, Lahj, Abyan, Ibb, Taiz, Raymah and Al Mahwit).
Light to moderate rain was expected in Ibb, Raymah, Al Mahwit and Hajjah governorates, parts of the Tihama plain, the eastern and southern coasts and the Socotra archipelago.
The center alerted citizens, especially the elderly, children and workers, in the evening and morning, in the previously mentioned governorates and highlands, of the cold and extremely cold weather.
He advised farmers in mountainous areas to take necessary measures to preserve their crops.
He also warned those traveling to cold areas of the need to take necessary precautions to avoid thermal shock.
He warned drivers in areas where rain is expected about thunderstorms during rain and about reduced horizontal visibility due to low cloud density, on roads and mountain slopes.
