Armed robbery
An urgent telegram sent by the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights in Sanaa to the General Administration of Command and Control of the Ministry of Interior revealed an incident of assault and armed robbery at the premises of the Supreme Judicial Council designated for members of the judiciary, located in Black Mountain in the Asr region, west of the capital Sanaa.

The ministry accused an armed group, led by supervisors of Al-Sabahah Camp, headquarters of the Special Forces Command, located in the Asr region, of attacking the scene.

The telegram explained that the supervisors, Abu Muhammad Muja’il, Abu Muhammad Mashal and Abu Nabil, accompanied by a number of armed men and protected by two crews and an armored special forces vehicle, and under the leadership of Ali Fadel, commander of the military police of the Al-Sabahah camp, were the ones who took command of the attackers in the judges’ compound in the Montenegro region during the night, at the time of the construction, after bringing in workers, as land thieves do. knowing that the floor has belonged to the judiciary since the 90s of the last century and that it is registered. In the name of the Superior Council of the Magistracy for the benefit of judges.

She stressed that around twenty armed men belonging to the Special Forces, reinforced by crews and armored personnel carriers, were deployed around the attacked area.

The telegram, which was copied to the President and members of the Supreme Judicial Council, the Minister of Interior, the Minister of Defense and Military Industrialization, the Chief of General Staff, the Governor of Sana’a Governorate, the Reports and Complaints Center of the Ministry of Defense and the Defense Club, read:
Yemeni judges said these crews and armored vehicles were supposed to be stationed on the front lines, not to protect swathes of land at a time of nighttime construction.

This is the second attack, after a previous attack about two years ago, carried out by the same attackers.

Al-Sabahah camp supervisors are seeking to create a park on the judges’ floor, justifying that the floor is close to the camp and that the park will be allocated to camp members, while judicial sources report that the supervisors are considering building a rest house for private investment purposes, taking advantage of the floor’s location overlooking the capital, Sana’a.

The Yemeni Judges Club called on the head of Ansar Allah and relevant authorities to intervene to stop the attacks and develop the judiciary.
