The most important thing was to get rid of Ali Abdullah Saleh Afash, who oppressed everyone and colonized the south and the north. Thus, the assassination of Saleh constituted a turning point in the history of Yemen and the end of the unfortunate Yemeni unity, which harmed all peoples.
