Temperatures in some Yemeni mountainous areas fell below zero degrees Celsius

On the evening of Saturday, January 3, 2026, minimum temperatures in several mountainous regions of Yemen fell below zero degrees Celsius.

According to weather forecasts published by the National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning, the lowest temperatures were recorded as follows:

Jabal al-Nabi Shuaib, west of Sanaa: (-4) and tangible (-5).

Dhamar: (-3) and tangible (-2).

Sanaa and Amran: (-2) and tangible (-1).

White: (0) and tangible (-1).

Saada and Lebaus Yafa’ – Lahj: (3) and the tangible (1).

Sayun – Hadhramaut: (5) and the tangible (4).

Al-Saddah – Ibb: (6).

Al-Hazm – Al-Jawf and Al-Buqa’ – Saada: (8).

Yemen
