Weather expert expects humidity and clouds to spread and cold snap intensity to drop

Meteorological expert Jamil Al-Hajj said the cold of the coming night will be accompanied by humidity and will be harmless in many parts of Yemen.

Al-Hajj expects spreading humidity and clouds from Sunday, November 9, 2025, which will make the effect of cold weather less severe, with parts remaining dry in some northwest regions of the country.

He highlighted the possibility of light and scattered rains beginning to fall on Sunday and Monday over the Socotra archipelago and the Gulf of Aden, as well as parts of the eastern and southern coastal governorates, as well as some areas of the Tihama Plains, Hodeidah Heights and southwest Yemen.

Rain is also expected to intensify on Tuesday, being light in some areas and moderate in others.
