Meteorology expects cold to very cold weather in the highlands

The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning predicted cold to very cold weather overnight and early morning in the governorates of (Saada, Amran, Sana’a, Dhamar and Al-Bayda) and the highlands of the governorates of (Al-Dhalea, Lahj, Abyan, Ibb, West Al-Jawf and southern Marib).

Cold weather is also expected in the highlands of Hadramawt, Shabwa, Taiz, Raymah and Al Mahwit governorates.

The Center warned citizens, especially the elderly, children and workers, in the evening and morning, in the above-mentioned governorates and highlands, against cold and extreme cold.

He also warned farmers in mountainous areas against the cold and advised them to take necessary measures to preserve their crops.

He also warned those traveling to cold areas of the need to take necessary precautions to avoid thermal shock.
