Weather: Frost in parts of the highlands and below average minimum temperatures

The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning forecast cold to very cold weather overnight and early morning in the governorates of (Saada, Amran, Sana’a, Dhamar and Al-Bayda) and the highlands of the governorates (Al-Dhalea, Lahj, Abyan, Ibb, West Al-Jawf and southern Marib). It cannot be ruled out that frost will form in limited areas, as minimum temperatures will generally be below normal.

The center also expects cold weather in the highlands of the governorates of (Hadramaut, Shabwa, Taiz, Raymah and Al Mahwit).

The Center warned citizens in the above-mentioned highlands of cold and extreme cold, especially the elderly, children, sick people and workers during the night and early morning.

He advised farmers to take appropriate measures to protect their crops and crops from damage.

He warned those traveling to cold areas of the need to take necessary precautions to avoid thermal shock.
