Meteorology warns highland citizens of cold and extremely cold weather

The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning expects cold to very cold weather in a number of governorates and highlands, with frost forming in some parts of them over the next 24 hours.

According to the weather forecast issued by the Center, the weather is likely to be cold to very cold during the night and early morning in the governorates of Saada – Al-Jawf West – Amran – Sanaa – Dhamar – Al-Bayda – Ma’rib South and the highlands of Ibb, Al-Dhalea, Lahj and Abyan, with frosts forming in some parts of them.

Cold weather is expected in the highlands of Hadhramawt, Shabwa, Taiz, Raymah, Al Mahwit and Hajjah.

The center warned citizens of the above-mentioned highlands of the cold and extremely cold weather, especially the elderly, children, sick people and workers during the night and early morning.

He advised farmers to take appropriate measures to protect their crops and crops from damage, and those coming to cold areas to take necessary precautions to avoid cold shock.
