Earthquake in Dhamar governorate

On Wednesday, November 27, 2025, stations of the Yemeni Center for Monitoring and Study of Earthquakes and Volcanoes recorded a slight earthquake in Dhamar Governorate, central Yemen.

The magnitude of the tremor reached 2.3 on the Richter scale and was recorded at 5:46 p.m., 10 km west of the crossing in the north of Dhamar governorate.

The last two seismic events were recorded at the passage on May 1, 2025, and the magnitude of the two tremors reached between 2.0 and 2.5 on the Richter scale, 9 km north of the passage in Jahran district.
