Weather: light frosts in parts of the highlands and cold to very cold weather

The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning forecast cold to very cold weather overnight and early morning in the governorates of (Saada, Amran, Sana’a, Dhamar, Al-Bayda and the highlands of Al-Dhalea, Lahj, Abyan, Ibb, West Al-Jawf and South Ma’rib), and light frosts (Al-Darib) may form in some parts of them.

The center also expects cold weather in the highlands of the governorates of (Hajjah, Al Mahwit, Raymah, Taiz, Shabwa and Hadhramaut).

The Center warned citizens of the above-mentioned highlands or those traveling there against cold and extreme cold, especially the elderly, children, the sick and workers during the night and early morning.

He also advised farmers to take necessary measures to protect their crops from damage.
