Judge Asks: How did a judge get sent back to court after accepting a reconciliation and apology?!
Yemen
Yamanat – Sanaa
Judge Jamal Dirham said the Aden Supreme Judicial Council had referred Judge Rawaa Mujahid to court, although the case was resolved through a reconciliation procedure adopted by mediators, led by Judge Dr Saleh Nasser, a member of the Aden Supreme Court.
apologies
Judge Dirham stressed that a text for the apology had been agreed upon, in accordance with the request of Judge Nazim Bawazir and the head of the Supreme Judicial Council of Aden.
It broke
Dirham said the requested formula had been submitted, but the Council and Justice Nazem Bawazir had reneged on all agreements in accordance with the wishes of Council member Justice Sabah, who had earlier physically assaulted Justice Rawaa.
question
She asks: Is it true that Judge Sabah threatened council members affiliated with the northern governorates that if they did not agree to bring Judge Rawaa to justice, she would expel them from Aden through the security belt? Or is the opponent the referee?!
Where has modesty gone?
He pointed out that the Southern Judges Club, which controls the Judicial Council, is itself challenging and prosecuting Judge Rawaa, the representative of the Yemeni Judges Club in Aden.
You also ask: How was the apology requested?! And when they were betrayed…?! Where has people’s modesty gone? Where is the femininity?!
invitation
Judge Dirham invited Judge Saleh Nasser to go to the population and courageously explain what happened, considering that he had sought and denied, and that he is therefore considered to have a right, and that what happened is considered an insult against him.
Dirham called on the judges to ask Judge Saleh Nasser to issue a press release about what happened.
He stressed that the trial of Judge Rawaa will be communicated to all international judicial and human rights organizations.
He also called on Yemeni public opinion to oppose a trial decided in advance, because the judgment has become the adversary.
