The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning expects scattered rain to fall over parts of the highlands and interior plateaus, southern and eastern coasts and adjacent inland areas.

Yesterday, scattered rains fell in parts of the governorates of (Al-Hudaydah, Raymah, Dhamar, Al-Dhalea, Shabwa and Hadhramaut).

Cold weather is also expected during the night and early morning in the highlands of the governorates (Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Al-Bayda and the highlands of Lahj and Abyan), and relatively cold in the highlands of the governorates (Al-Jawf, Ma’rib, Hadramaut, Shabwa, Taiz, Ibb, Raymah, Al-Mahwit and Hajjah).

The Center has alerted citizens in areas where rain is expected of the need to exercise caution.

He also warned drivers of vehicles traveling on mountain roads of reduced horizontal visibility due to the formation of fog.

He warned residents of the above-mentioned highlands against the cold, especially the elderly, children, the sick and those who work at night and early in the morning.
