Yemeni Bar Association appoints commission to follow up case of arrest of lawyer Sabra

The Yemeni Bar Association has assigned a legal team to follow up the case of the arrest of lawyer Abdul Majeed Sabra.

The president of the Yemeni Bar, Abdullah Rajeh, appointed on Monday October 20, 2025 a committee of seven lawyers to follow the case.

The committee included:

Lawyer Saqr Abdul Aziz Al-Samawi – Secretary General of the Yemeni Bar Association.

Lawyer Mounir Abdel Jalil Al-Hakim – President of the Lawyers Defense Authority.

Lawyer Ziad Abdel Salam Al-Dabaï – President of the Committee for the Defense of the Legal Profession.

Lawyer Muhammad Muqbil Al-Hanahi – Vice President of the Prisoners’ Defense Committee.

And the lawyers: Amin Sharaf Al-Din, Akram Al-Jilani and Muhammad Al-Nimr, members of the detainee defense committee.
