He is a journalist, cultural editor, writer, storyteller and human rights and civil society activist. He contributed significantly to the creation of the cultural pages of a large number of Yemeni newspapers and oversaw the management of several websites specialized in cultural, literary and artistic aspects, in addition to his continuous work in several cultural and literary magazines, thus obtaining a remarkable presence in the Yemeni press, media and cultural circles.

Journalist Ezz Al-Din Al-Amiri made his cultural and literary debut in the late 90s of the last century, when he published various literary and cultural works in most independent and partisan newspapers. He was also one of the young cultural writers whose diverse works have flooded most cultural pages, websites and blogs over the past twenty years. He also actively contributed to the creation and management of numerous cultural institutions and literary organizations, which established links and integrated cultural and literary circles.

Through this, he accumulated knowledge and desires to push the erasure of the professionalism of cultural journalism and the arts of journalistic publishing in relation to the field of cultural journalism, where he worked and held a number of journalistic positions during the stages of his activity in the journalistic and cultural community, and among these positions he held:

– Editorial secretary of the Future Online site

– Secretary of the Yemeni History Club (Al-Maqah), Taiz

– Director of the Modern Yemen Center for Culture, Arts and Heritage

– Supervisor and preparer of cultural pages in newspapers, notably (Al-Jamahir, Sawt Al-Arda, Binna Al-Haqiqa and others)

– Publication and preparation of several cultural files in the newspaper Al-Jumhuriya and its cultural and artistic supplements

He devotes cultural columns to him in various newspapers and fields

He has also participated in numerous cultural, literary and artistic events and activities, presented a number of working papers at cultural and intellectual seminars and discussion groups, and published several diverse works and books, including poetry, stories and literary criticism, the most notable of which are the following:

Many of his critical articles and studies have been published in a number of official and civilian Yemeni newspapers and websites.

He has numerous press kits in numerous newspapers and websites.

– Participation in numerous cultural and creative festivals and events.

– A woman from coal (short stories) was published by Arwaqa publishing house – Cairo 2010

– He Has Blue Eyes (a novel) was published by Arwaqa publishing house – Cairo 2017.

– The book (I Knew Him Yamania) Dialogues in Literature and Art is currently being published.

– The book (Popular Proverbs in Taiz) is currently being printed.

Thus, we can say that colleague and intellectual writer Ezzedine Al-Amiri presented a distinguished experience in the field of cultural journalism, crowning his great efforts and continuous activities with the highest levels of success and creativity.
