After the 1994 war, young people stopped me in the street.

And they say to me: What do you think, Razihi? What is the solution?

I remembered my grandmother’s words when she advised me to emigrate, so I told them:

– According to my grandmother: Immigration is the solution.

They thought I was joking and said to me:

– We don’t care about your grandmother’s opinion. We want your opinion.

I told them: my opinion is that of my grandmother.

They tell me: if your grandmother says: “Migration is the solution”, why don’t you immigrate?

– I am married, I have sons and daughters and it is difficult for me to immigrate.

But you are young and single.

At that time, there was a takfiri group in Egypt that was causing the apostasy of society.

Its name: “The Takfir wal-Hijrah Group”.

This group inspired me to create a group that I called:

(Migration Think Tank).

I wrote an article with this title.

Before the last war, I met someone in Maqil,

He started introducing himself to me and thanking me.

When I expressed my astonishment to him and asked him why he had thanked me,

He said: I am an engineer with the Immigration Thinking Group.

I immigrated to Canada after the 1994 war after reading your article.

And now I’m here on vacation.

After the 1994 war, every time I read or hear Islamists or secularists say:

– “Islam is the solution” or “Secularism is the solution”,

Or I have heard trade unionists and separatists say:

“Unity is the solution” or “Separation is the solution”.

I remember my grandmother and I say: Immigration is the solution.
