Al-Sami’i, in a frank and transparent interview: America thwarted the agreements with Saudi Arabia, high-ranking positions were compromised, the partnership has become purely symbolic, and the two regions represent a solution to preserve unity.
Lieutenant General Sultan al-Sama’i, a member of the Supreme Political Council, stated that the progress of the Yemeni armed forces is due to the attention given to their development by their leader, Sayyid Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, particularly with regard to long-range missiles and drones. He emphasized that al-Houthi personally oversees this aspect.
A weapon to impose conditions
In an interview with journalist Ahmed al-Kabsi on the “Open for Discussion” program on Yemen Today TV, a channel broadcasting from Sana’a, al-Sama’i said that he had heard Abdul-Malik al-Houthi himself, several years ago, state that it was essential to develop a weapon that would allow them to impose conditions during future negotiations.
Al-Sama’i confirmed that al-Houthi was right: a weapon with a range of several thousand kilometers would play a decisive role in forcing the aggressor nations to back down, aware of the damage to their economic interests.
Lieutenant General al-Sama’i indicated that weapons capable of surprising everyone are currently in circulation.
Bombing of facilities will resume.
He explained that if negotiations with Saudi Arabia are not concluded and agreements are not signed – a process delayed by American and other pressures – they are fully prepared to resume bombing all economic facilities, near and far, throughout the Arabian Peninsula.
Agreements blocked
Al-Sama’i indicated that the United States has blocked the signing of agreements with Saudi Arabia. He stressed that the involvement of Gaza in the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden, the Arabian Sea, and now the Mediterranean, has shattered the aura of invincibility surrounding the United States, Great Britain, and other major powers. Not a God
He stated: “They tried to intimidate us with America, but we told them that America is not a god. America is made up of human beings who possess weapons. However, we have a central and crucial issue: the Palestinian cause. That is why we announced our intervention alongside our brothers in Gaza.”
He added: “We will not back down, whether in the face of American or British forces, and the whole world has witnessed this.”
Violation of International Law
Al-Sami’i emphasized that America was defeated in Vietnam, Somalia, and Lebanon, and withdrew. It was also defeated in Afghanistan and withdrew, as well as in many other regions of the world. Therefore, the aura they cultivate around the American forces and their intelligence services can be interpreted, in Yemeni terms, as a violation of international law.
Al-Sami’i insisted that if Britain or America attempts to invade our territory, we will make a mockery of them.
For Peace
He stated: We are not begging anyone. We aspire to peace – a peace that preserves our independence, our rights, reconstruction, and just reparations, in accordance with international law. If they want it quickly, we are ready. If they want it later, they will lose more, and they know very well that our current capabilities can seriously disrupt their oil exports.
The Time Factor
Al-Sami’i explained that Saudi Arabia is stalling for time, under the influence of American intelligence services and other Jewish and Western intelligence agencies. However, our people understand the situation.
We are striving to find solutions.
He added: We are currently striving to find solutions, even temporary ones, to the suffering of our citizens. However, we will not stand idly by until Saudi Arabia compensates us or returns the looted funds it holds at the National Bank, the Abu Dhabi Bank, and elsewhere.
This is imminent.
He continued: We will work diligently to find solutions, and, God willing, you will see them during or after the radical changes that are imminent.
He emphasized that everything is being postponed until these radical changes occur. He explained that everyone should know that our authorities in Sanaa have been infiltrated by several intelligence agencies. He stated that they are currently reviewing the files related to this matter.
Intelligence infiltration.
Al-Sami’i confirmed that the authorities in Sanaa were infiltrated by international, American, and Zionist intelligence agencies.
He continued: “We will one day know that those who infiltrated us will be brought to justice and imprisoned.” He stressed that they held positions of responsibility.
Al-Sami’i noted that this situation was the result of interference by intelligence services.
