Sanaa.. Money Changers Association issues circular to stop dealing with exchange facility

On Tuesday, November 18, 2025, the Central Bank of Sanaa ceased operating a foreign exchange facility.
The Sanaa Foreign Exchange Association circulated to foreign exchange establishments, businesses and local money transfer networks, implementing the Central Bank’s directives to stop dealing with the Ali Abdul Karim Foreign Exchange Facility for violating the bank’s instructions.
Since the beginning of November, the Central Bank has stopped dealing with three companies and eight exchange centers, in addition to two money transfer networks, while ordering the resumption of transactions with seven exchange centers and three money transfer networks.
