Activist Muhammad Al-Yafai transferred from Dhamar prison

Civil activist Muhammad Al-Yafai was transferred from his prison in the central Yemeni city of Dhamar to the capital, Sanaa, his daughter, Zahur Al-Yafai, reported on his Facebook account on Wednesday, October 29, 2025.

Security services arrested Al-Yafai at his home in the town of Dhamar on September 25, 2025.

His daughter, Zahour, said her father was attacked and threatened by the son of an influential person in the Dhamar Governorate Water and Sanitation Company the day before his arrest.

Al-Yafai was arrested with others in Dhamar, as part of a campaign by authorities to celebrate the 63rd anniversary of the September 26 Revolution.
