Yemeni juniors qualify with full marks for Asian Cup final

The Yemen junior national team qualified for the final of the AFC U-17 Cup, after their valuable victory over the Laos national team, 4-2, in the match that brought them together on Wednesday, November 30, 2025, in the final round of the second group competitions.

Fahd Al-Faqih scored two goals for the Yemeni national team in the 21st and 81st minutes, while Abdul Rahman Ramzi added two more goals in the 65th and 79th minutes.

With this victory, the Yemeni youth team reached the milestone and topped the group with 15 points in five matches, achieving five comprehensive victories, to book their place in the Asian Cup final, which will be held in Saudi Arabia from May 7 to 24, 2026.

The Yemeni national team started their qualifying campaign with an important victory over host Kyrgyzstan 2-0, then scored a big victory over the Guam national team 10-0 and beat Cambodia 3-0, before securing another major victory against the Pakistan national team 5-1.
