Yemeni national team opens Gulf Cup tournament with thrilling victory

The Yemeni U-23 team beat the Iraqi team by two goals to one, in the opening of the Arabian Gulf Cup tournament, Thursday, December 4, 2025.

The Yemeni national team’s goals were scored by Abdul Rahman Al-Khader in the 28th and 36th minutes.

The Iraqi team managed to reduce the gap to just one goal, but had to face a desperate Yemeni defense.
