The Russian Embassy in Yemen said on Monday, December 16, 2025, that Ambassador Dr. Yevgeny Kudrov discussed with Iranian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ali Reza Enayati the situation in Yemen.

The Russian Embassy explained on its Facebook account that Kudrov and Enayati discussed the situation in some governorates of the Republic of Yemen, with reference to the events taking place in Hadhramaut and Al-Mahra governorates.

The two sides also discussed ways to resolve the military and political crisis in Yemen, the situation in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea, as well as regional issues.
