Weather expert Jamil Al-Hajj predicted a cold spell in the coming days in Saudi Arabia and Yemen.

He stressed that the wave would begin Monday evening and at dawn on Tuesday December 16 and 17, 2025, and that with it temperatures would begin to drop, excluding the appearance of “strong” frosts and suggesting that heavy dew would fall.

Al-Hajj explained, in a message on his Facebook account, that temperatures will continue to drop in Yemen starting next Wednesday, and will gradually intensify day by day.

He noted that the noticeable cold feeling would begin Thursday or Friday evening.

He expects the wave to be accompanied by high humidity, clouds and rain in some areas, at least until December 21, emphasizing that there is no frost expected before that date.

He added that if frost occurs, it would be between December 21 and 27, but the entry of a wet wave or currents could lead to the cold wave breaking through.
