Politician Azal Al-Jawi criticized the way authorities in Sanaa handled the South Yemen issue, considering it a marginal issue.

Al-Jawi said, through his story on the “X” platform, that the question of the South is in its entirety, its importance and all its complexities. From Sanaa’s point of view, this is only a marginal issue in the hands of “Musharraf”, an arrogant young man from the north, whose experience in the south does not exceed the two days he spent in Aden with his family as a tourist beach trip before the war, according to his personal testimony.

He explained that over the past few years, the voluminous and important documents in this file had been dispersed, to the point that it had become almost empty and neglected, and at best contained only a few scattered fragments.

Al-Jawi described the South’s file with authorities in Sanaa as being as close as possible to a file at the bottom of the archives, opened from time to time for reasons of routine and personal interest only.

He stressed that if Sana’a wanted to take urgent and effective action in the south today, it would not be able to do so in practice and would, at best, limit itself to singing songs and writing tweets.

He concluded by saying: We have been warning them about this and we have never stopped calling for reform and partnership, especially with Southerners, and at least in the Southern question, but there is no life for which you are clamoring.
